Marek Cabin

Along the banks of the Cedar River in Northern Michigan sits the Marek Cabin.
A comfortable retreat with the soul of a rustic cabin in the woods, it was built on the site of an abandoned 19th century farm.

The cabin was hand built from river and field rocks, and recycled timbers from the abandoned 19th century farm found onsite.

The fieldstone foundation supports the Japanese inspired lines and exterior surface angles.
In addition to the impressive stone work is the expressive use of cement stucco, and Cedar shingles.
