Lost Lake Woods

Within the rolling country of Lost Lake Woods is a house integrated into a southwest sloping ravine.
The house is balanced by a cantilevered entrance canopy, which reflects the surrounding forest, and a cantilevered deck built over the ravine.

Anchored by ledgerock, the house is pierced by the stone chimney.
Planters unify the foundations of the attached garage and separate studio.

Positioned on the site to let in the maximum amount of daylight, the clerestory windows give the feeling of being up high in the tree's canopy.

The partial walls and open spaces of the interior rooms are complimented by wood floors, counterspace, and reflective glass walls, framed in cedar timbers.
