This Greene & Greene inspired home is on a quiet cul-de-sac in the small beach town of Grand Haven, Michigan. The California bungalow style is richly expressed throughout the interior and exterior with wood framing and finish work.

The bungalow style is reflected in the unique landscaping, which features a rock garden and chain gutters for drainage.

The client, a master carpenter, hand built the house with the assistance of local artisans. The light fixtures and complex trim were designed by Roundstone Design, and delicately constructed by the owner.
